Nelson
Suarez was born in Guantanamo, Cuba and
lived all of his adult life in Miami,
Florida. Ever since he can remember he
has being a musician and a painter.
In
the year 2000 he participated in
2 Toltec spiritual seminars with Nagual
Master Victor Sanchez who followed
the teachings of the Nagual Don Juan
Matus, as described in the works of
Carlos Castaneda.
One
seminar was called "The Jump
To The Other Self". There, he
connected with one of his spirit guide "Bear
Paw" who told him he was a Cherokee
Indian from the Appalachian Mountains
and that he was going to inspired him
to paint in his dreams.
Soon
thereafter Nelson started painting
with more fervor than ever before.
The paintings in exhibit at "Art Fusion Galleries" are
the result of these last 4 year since
his meeting with "Bear Paw".
Nelson now resides in the Appalachian
Mountains of North Carolina (in Cherokee
County). He paints from memory and
is an intuitive painter. 90% of his
paintings are the result of his dreaming
and the inspiration that comes from "Bear
Paw".
