Artists have bridged the generations since the
beginning of time. From cave drawing to sky-writin,
we have felt the desire and compulsion to communicate
through all of our senses: sight, touch, smell,
sound, dtaste and intuition/love. Our role is
to interpret the past to future generations
wno have no firsthand knowledge of their history...we
are the glue that keeps this and every civilization
together.
September11, 2001 was a trigger for many people
to awaken to the Mars (God of War) archetype,
now dominationg the headlines and our subconscious
being. However, the female archetypes/energies,
through myth and spiritual traditions, are hoding
a space of peace, love and humanity for us to
move forward, consciously, into our future.
With each new generation arises new concepts,
new art forms... that change the paradigms of
our culdture. Yes, we change the world. We follow
our passions and our dreams. The choice is always
there: to follow in violence or in PEACE.
We must have art to describe this era of our
lives, to keep open the bridge to our history. |
